COMMUNITY WELLNESS CAMPAIGN
OUR MISSION…
is to empower communities to lead healthier lives through accessible wellness programs, holistic health education, and supportive services and resources.

We are a team of dedicated professionals from a variety of fields including public health, biomedical research, sociology, psychology, education, and health and wellness coaching.
Our diverse and rich background in health, community service, and education has allowed us to take note of the areas in which the health of our local communities is lacking. From this we developed strategies utilizing the tools of health education and promotion, health policy and regulation, and community behavior to bridge the health gap.

We asked some of our younger community members what it means to be healthy, and here are their thoughts:
“A person is healthy when they are strong and their brain is smart and their body is energetic, and they don’t easily fall down or faint. Being healthy means being very strong and exercising and eating healthy, so you don’t become weak. Eat healthy and you’ll be strong!”

“It’s good to eat healthy, and you should eat healthy every single day. For example, you should eat vegetables, but it is not a good idea to eat only vegetables. You should also eat meat, fruits, eggs, rice, protein shakes, and drink milk. You should also drink lots of water while you are exercising.”
-Ameer, 9 years old
“Being healthy isn’t just having huge muscles. You can be spiritually healthy, and physically healthy. You strive to be the best version of yourself. You set and achieve your goals. You are open-minded, and you can stay calm. You have a schedule where you fit in things like meditation, prayers, workouts, and more. Have a good diet, consume beneficial foods without relying on medicines. Eat natural medicines like fruit and vegetables etc. These will lead to success and happiness.”
